Getting clients walking in the door at the very moment you need them can be tough. That’s why you have to constantly be looking for ways to connect even when you have an almost-full schedule.
Fortunately, there are many tools that can help you to develop connections within your local (and global!) community. Once you have made these connections, you then have many more tools that can help you keep in touch and build your presence.
One of the neatest ways to capture that connection is by collecting subscribers to your newsletter. If you can build that list you are one step closer to getting that individual to be a bigger part of your business.
Consider adding an embedded sign-up form on your website on the landing page and encourage visitors to your site to stay up-to-date with your news. You can also add a sign-up form to your Facebook page, or put links in your tweets or on your Instagram bio.
Make sure that all your existing clients are also a part of your mailing list (you might need to ask their permission to sign them up) and when you are at community events be sure to have a sign up sheet to capture the contact info for all those people who show an interest in your business but aren’t quite yet ready to commit.
